@kaia do you think the nobility are still capable of governing effectively in this modern world? since the 17th century, and especially since the 20th, a lot of houses seem to have grown weak, and the worse ones decadent and corrupt. like the windsors or the house of savoy.

@genmaicha among the pre-1802 German princes there are a few very good candidates for regional or state government. people who are nowadays in charge of huge areas of forest and farms, already managing an estate. people who are somewhat conservative, but in a green way. king charles was like that as a prince. he's still a good man, just too old. the less capable sons are usually not interested in ruling in the first place. prince andrew had no interest in actually being a working royal.
