@jesu well, the real meaning behind this post is that a lot of our words for spying come from french for some reason.

@jesu my guess is that france developed its spying capabilities before england did.
I've also heard that france is still really good at espionage but nobody talks about it. like their country's quite successful nuclear program apparently used stolen secrets.

@genmaicha I assume so, yes, this would follow. Yeah fwiu France is big in spying and human trafficking..
@jesu @genmaicha All correct. Aside from a couple high-profile fuckups by DGSE, they're known for being remarkably efficient, use violent tactics, and they don't play well with any other intelligence outfit.
