an unknown amount (likely thousands, if not ten thousand[s]) of ukranian anti drone specialists are already on their way to the middle east. an unexpected move for me , that i didnt think about a few days ago, but i think the best move for the middle-east coalition. i couldnt think of a way to defend all the oil fields, civilian critical infrastructure (mostly desalination plants) and downtowns, but this fulfills that question for my perspective. Within a year, the US can both learn and battle-test the systems.
in 3-5 days it should be safe to estimate the scale of length for this conflict, and the possibilities of escalation to even more frontlines
lots of promises are being thrown around to do this and not do that, by both sides of the war axis, too many to be bothered to write out right now, but not too many new actions to estimate their true intent or ranges of intent

@cell @sun the "in short" is a simplification, the tldr is yes,
the long end is 'almost': merely the implication of it exists. "in time" meaning that actions have been set into motion that as long as they keep happening at a rapid accelerating pace, the worst things in this specific category of war threats wont happen. very many bad things are still in motion. in total war, there is no "this and then its good" solution. there is only playing for time bonuses running on 3 different scales (tacticals, operations, strategies) constantly while trying to penalize your opponents time frames on every scale as well. similarly, there is no 1 message to get through once, its an infinite pounding of LISTEN TO ME! fighting against 40 other LISTEN TO ME!s, some of which may be malicious as well, lasting over the course of an entire engagement on whatever scale it is happening on, over time, not one specific moment in time.
