dating review: stepping back from it all
sometimes it's time to take a break. This is one of those times. dating, and job hunting, and all at once is emotionally exhausting and I don't got that dawg in me no more
Lessons learned:
* going on dates is fun because they're hangouts where you tease someone.
* speed dating is an expensive yet good way to learn how to talk with people you have nothing in common with.
* everyone is on the apps now. That's where things happen, not meatspace
* dating or searching is exhausting because of the presentation of choice, real or false
* you need a good conception of what you want from a relationship in order to get a positive outcome
* you can be poisoned by a bad set of values inherited from fiction, making the above difficult
