Doesn't make any sense. Because of the temperature of a fart and the gas composition of said flatulence forcing it to expand outward until it dissipates throughout the air, it's going to rise up (especially in a cold room) on the sides of the chair and through the gaps between the person and the chair. You're just ensuring that everyone around you gets the highest and most immediate concentration of exposure. Now maybe if there were some sort of air filtration or something, maybe, idk much about filters.
