>Perhaps the most important figures in Chinese dragon mythology are the Dragon Kings, known as Longwang (ιΎη).
excuse me
excuse me
My chaoskampf seeking brain has been BTFO by Chinese mythology, where I expect dragons to represent chaos and evil to be overcome by storm deities, in China they represent cosmic authority and divine power themselves. The Yellow Emperor has his own dragon form.
Yellow Emperor's Dragon is literally the flag of the Qing.

>In East Asian culture, the Yellow Dragon is the fifth symbol completing the Sixiang (Four Symbols).
this sentence basically sums up how pre-planned all this mythology is. they're just vibing, it's not supposed to make sense.

Small important detail to know. Only Emperor was allowed to use five fingered image of dragon. Everyone else had to use four or less fingered dragon. π
