Is Godzilla only a heel in the first film, and then pretty much turns babyface instantly to fight the other monsters? Kaiju experts, pls respond

Apparently, Godzilla maintains a heel run for the first 4 entries, and then in the 5th turns babyface and forms a stable with Mothra and Rodan to defeat King Ghidorah. Then he's a babyface until the territory goes bust.
