When Japan surrendered at the end of WW2 all the powers who fought in the pacific signed this treaty, but Canada signed in the wrong spot forcing each following country to sign in the wrong spot.

@Fash-E the obviously less-disruptive solution would've been for the French signer to swap places with the Canadian signer, and this might've even been the plan of the Canadian - his incompetence masking his malice against the French.
