@anemone i'm afraid to check if this is real
@sun@shitposter.world it's real
@anemone he's right though that they're paid, nobody rented a suit and made a sign over this issue unless they were paid
@sun@shitposter.world dont agree. left-identified libs love this kind of performative action
@anemone that is actually worse :-(
@sun@shitposter.world ive seen too many libs here enthusiastically put epic protest frog signs in their windows and on their cars in response to the ICE protests to think it's a paid thing. im sure the people who saw the opportunity to sell dumb signs and stickers are getting paid, ofc, but the demand seems real
@anemone imagine being so dumb that you haven't figured out yet that the system is so powerful it's not threatened by your disapproval in any way
@sun@shitposter.world no dont you see we just gotta do one more city-approved No Kings! march on the opposite side of the continent and Drumpf will cave!
@anemone I have read some commentary on "woke" and I don't endorse any of it but you find some nuggets here and there, like how the corporate backing all flipped to republicans after october 7 for some weird reason
@sun@shitposter.world i think that's multifaceted because corporate money was already pulling out of "woke" stuff in many areas as soon as Trump got elected, but oct 7 and the subsequent genocide certainly pushed even more money out for obvious reasons

@anemone it is absolutely not because of oct 7 solely and you are right it started earlier but there was still a lot of money in resisting trump until his second admin and oct 7 kinda settled it. its not even the first time it happened, neocons have switched parties to align with israel repeatedly since the 1980s
@anemone trump is not a neocon in any way he's a useful idiot for the neocons
