the python niggers resisted adding a switch statement for 30 years and then when they finally did they called it something else

erm

when I was like 18 I figured out how to get 2.7 to do a switch statement for function calls via dictionary key searching and just calling the function reference. Not as fast as a switch becuase muh hash lookup table but logically similar.

I didn't know it at the time, but it's quite similar in C.

Python just abanoned any morals they had and replaced it with buttfuckery
