A salary is a fixed amount of money you get at the end of the month that corresponds to a fixed amount of time worked

If you work more that falls outside of the deal and must be compensated on top of it

@RustyCrab @scathach yes but I am in Europe, actually I have never worked 1 extra minute without getting paid in Europe, only when I was in Japan they did that to me, so I abandoned them and came back to Europe.

@ergo @scathach we dont have jobs in the US. The whole tech industry is just jeets hiring jeets and a few hanging onto their last senior programmers. I had to do a sketchy looking workaround to get mine
