there are some 'code exploration' tools I want to make but they hinge on having very very specific interactions with elements in ways I feel are unlikely to be achievable in web / electron frameworks. However if they AREN'T in web frameworks, they will be unable to integrate with any modern editor.
The lead dev of claude code seems to think that "IDEs will be irrelevant in a year" and that's almost certainly bullshit but maybe there's an opportunity forming for some tools to be made outside of the usual "everything is a vscode extension"
