3@PNS Wait. It that really a thing? Canadians secretly hate us but are too pussy whipped to say it to our faces?
@greenzeta @PNS
No. Hate is too strong a word. Cringe definitely. You epitomise the 2006 film "Idiocracy".
Personally I admire your constitutional freedoms and wish we had them too. But I also wish you guys had a government which actually respected them, and the sovereignty of other nations. With the type of government you have it's hard not to think that with friends like you there's no need for enemies. Living next to you is like trying to sleep near a 10 tonne elephant on meth.

It's a wash, Can/US, in terms of gripes and it needs to stop.
It's a bad episode of Between Two Ferns at this point.
"Do you think Canadians are suicidal?"
"Wha--!!?"
"You sound suicidal."

Whatever can be said about the US government, ours is definitely not much better. It's hard to feel too smug by comparison. But I think I'd still choose Canada for the culture all things considered. Even though we have way more than our fair share of histrionic libtards and such, 'Murica overall still seems too violently delusional for my comfort.
