@sun @patriarchalape @grey The guy who make it, supposedly made like 10 different variations of "what is superman was evil" stories. And somehow its super popular and people treat it like its worth anything.

@sun @patriarchalape @grey And all of it is from the anti-fans. They hate the genre they subverting, without understanding, and only with spite. Konosuba is a subversion of a isekai genre, which become one of the best works in the genre. It mocks the tropes, but enjoys and plays with them instead. Reanimator by Lovecraft is a subversion of Lovecraft stories by Lovecraft himself. Its a comedy set like a horror story. To make fun of something, and for it to actually be fun, you need to be a super fan. But modern media is the opposite, its super haters making fun of the original creators and original audience.
