He's factually wrong about the inventions thing. But that's not important. The important thing is, the love for your people cannot be transactional. Im half italian half greek. We literally invented most stuff or at least thought of them and the roman empire is the only empire that matters btw. But even if our people had invented nothing, were the lesser of humans, we would still be entitled to our own countries blood and history. And future. Love for your people must not be transactional.

Love of one's own people doesn't need to be argued with statistics, etc., it is something natural to man. If you need to or feel the need to argue that you must love a people because they are "superior" you don't really have love the but just want to pick the winning horse or only feel it is acceptable to love a people if its in the form of worship of what you deem the superior—a very materialistic view.
