the fediverse as a whole is one of the most hostile places i've ever experienced when it comes to using or contributing code. the wider fediverse as a whole is more racist and phobic of everybody here than poast could ever be but we get labeled as the racist website. it's incredible to watch

It takes a lot of sustained BS for me to consider blocking someone on fedi. Mute for a few days, sure. Block entirely, very rare. But looking at the number of people from the top 5 instances who've earned a place on that list, there's a pretty clear pattern.
