@Goalkeeper If this movie had been good, the boost to her career would have been worth millions in future movie deals. It literally would be worth paying the studio to be in a film like this one. If it wasn't a pile of complete dogshit of course lol.

Famously Orlando Bloom was hired just out of school to star in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. He has said he was only paid $170K total. But obviously that was a great deal for him since it made him far more than he could have gotten otherwise.

That's the thing though. You have to take a measured gamble. This bitch jumped into the pool of shit with both feet.

@Goalkeeper It was a decent gamble, I don't think she knew when getting cast that Gunn would be farming the script out to some cunt who had only had a short film as a writing credit. Movies are hard to predict, and I don't think anyone in her position would have turned down this offer. The fault lies (as it always does) with Warner Brothers.
