@snappler@poa.st @flux_the_cat@poa.st @themilkman@shitposter.world I wonder if for a lot of them (not all or even most, obviously), there's a feeling of inability or incapacity at the root. That they do want to be good, but the feeling of being encouraged to do something that they feel they absolutely cannot do hurts the part of them that is an idealist. So, it tries to find ways to accept their imperfections by looking for stories to provide some validation. Maybe because that's where a lot of their original desires to "be better" came from or were heavily informed by. Or I'm just playing armchair psychoanalyst or projecting or something and it's not at all that for them. Idk.

Sadly, I'm guessing this means no new games from him for a while?
I wonder if he's going to try to make Rei more of best girl, since he has an obvious thing for white haired girls and Rei's hair is kind of close to that. 2B is likely partially based on her, too. Then again, he also likes foulmouthed tsunderes with extra tsun, so... shrug emoji.
