after a solid month of adhd meds i can confidently say they are life changing if you have this particular brain problem

i think i also now agree (with one school of thought) that there isnt exactly a thing called attention which i lacked, but rather there are several other processes which need boosting or supressing in the adhd brain which allow for attention as a follow-on effect

@7666 @window You hear a lot of bullshit from people that don't know how, and I am not exaggerating, crippling this condition is. a month after starting the meds: I didn't feel like a superhero; I just felt like for the first time in my life I could convert intent into a finished project. And it was so personally fulfilling.
