remember how before chat gippity came along it was common for people to say constraints make better products, usually with regard to old games or movies before CGI

@deprecated_ii I know people said that, however, I don't think it is true in a mechanical sense.
I'm pretty sure if you took those people, from that time, and gave them a better tool, it wouldn't hold them back.

@hazlin we've got plenty of evidence supporting the idea that constraints are good. an easy example is the star wars prequel trilogy, or the special editions of the original trilogy. lucas had more money and more technology, but every time he touched the original creation he made it worse

@deprecated_ii @hazlin For a perfect example of this take a look at PC98 games that had many restrictions placed on them due to the primitive technology and the "remakes" that have been done of them.
