reminded of being in a laboratory and watching my lab table neighbour pouring boiling hot water into a vial filled with concentrated sulphuric acid liquid, nothing happening for about 0.5 seconds, and then the vial exploding, spraying the operators face with sulphuric acid (had glasses on so it was fine)
that was really funny because just the day before we were told exactly not to do that exact specific thing, nothing happened because it was just like 2ml of sulphuric acid and we rinsed it all off with cold running watuh (lol, ironic innit)
