Incredible, I turned on this DS-Lite that's been in a box for years, and not only does the battery appear to be good, it's fully charged and reported the correct date

@sun yes, this is indeed accurate. I experienced the same when I wanted to use it again, and I've had it since 2007~. The screen is kinda glitchy sometimes, have to move it around until it's ok.
