I am against the age law in california because we shouldn't have to deal with thousands and thousands of laws on a daily basis, it's just not that important. but the law doesn't say what people are saying it says

@eris everything in linux requires a local account. Nothing in the bill requires online verification
@sun it says the OS or app store does need to have an API for all apps to check the age bracket of the user, but it's implemented for account creation only. So even FreeDOS needs to add age verification
@eris you could do it on install of the os. Literally just had to ask age
@eris yeah this is doable but they need to argue for an exception because freedos is arguably for running legacy software or embedded software in an appliance
