@awl the "republican" justices that trump put in office sounded incredibly unconvinced by the prosecuting attorney's argument aka they didn't agree with it and were basically poking massive holes the entire time and asking how she could possibly justify the edge cases

the unfortunate thing is that only important stuff like this gets thoroughly analyzed by the courts, lower level state petty laws basically get nothing until it actually happens lol
