So, I’m watching a show about an artist who said she went to Catholic school as a child. They asked the class what they wanted to be when they grew up. The artist said she wanted to be a Nun.

The Nuns at the school said she could never be a Nun because she was left handed!

Curiously, is this an actual thing??

Both my husband and his dad went to Catholic school and he said when his dad went they made him switch hands but my husband didn't have to.... interesting.

@apple_dumplin it was an old school thing. It probably varied based on order of the nun as well

Yeah, I knew the right hand is represented as the right hand of God. I just didn't understand how that made the left hand evil. Lol
