I work under retards. One is a chronic fuckup who ruins everything, but keeps getting lateral promotions to be someone else's problem. One of his fuckups was approving almost an entire crew's overlapping vacation requests, so for a week, there were only a couple people present. At a foundry, this is a no-go.
On my side of the plant, the supervisors won't tell you where any material is, when technicians will be coming in to work on something, when local maintenance will be tearing something down, or what has been worked on during your off days. They then have the unmitigated gall to ask "what's up" before the morning meeting (which provides zero information).
At least they learned to stop asking people to fill in for the goldbrickers who took time off after being exhausted by sucking up all of the overtime hours they could get.
